Domaine Gayda was built in 1749 as a Staging Post for travellers where horses were refreshed and changed. In 2004, current owners Tim Ford and Anthony Record joined forces with winemaker Vincent Chansault, creating the modern face of wine from the region. In the largest wine region of the world, Domaine Gayda strives to create wine with provenance and a sense of “being” that is a true reflection of the quality and diversity of the Languedoc Roussillon.
The Chemin de Moscou Rouge is a blend of 59% Syrah, 35% Grenache, 6% Cinsault. Deep purple, almost opaque in colour with an expressive nose of black fruits, pepper, cinnamon spice, chocolate, and violets.
