Domaine Gayda was built in 1749 as a Staging Post for travellers where horses were refreshed and changed. In 2004, current owners Tim Ford and Anthony Record joined forces with winemaker Vincent Chansault, creating the modern face of wine from the region. In the largest wine region of the world, Domaine Gayda strives to create wine with provenance and a sense of “being” that is a true reflection of the quality and diversity of the Languedoc Roussillon.
The Flying Solo Blanc is a blend of 85% Grenache Blanc, 15% Viognier and aged on it's lees in stainless steeel tanks to preserve the wine's fruit freshness. An aromatic, fruit driven wine with citrus notes on the nose. A rich palate, round and fruity, offering a distinct freshness.
