With a lovely looking weekend ahead I have selected my two favourite varieties, that are perfect for this sort of weather - Riesling & Pinot Noir.

2015 Riesling Zeppelin, Max Fer. Richter Mosel Germany
£13.99 or 2 for £25

This is possibly the best vintage I have tasted for this wine.  The 2015 had near perfect grower conditions and with resulting wines are simply sublime, with pitch perfect acidities and wonderfully bright concentrated fruit.  I simply adore this so make sure you get down to the store to taste it yourself!

2012 Pinot Noir, Anderson Valley, Handley Cellars, California
£24.99 or 2 for £40
Yup, its a Pinot Bargain weekend. Plush, lush and packed with dark lifted cherry fruit.  Serve it lightly chilled and you'll be very happy you picked up a couple of bottles - you could even leave one for the coming Autumn when it'll go great with game......but I doubt you'll be able to resist.
