We're having a bit of fun with the end of our month celebrating all things Rioja, and have decided to crack open a gorgeous version of this classic wine from the new world.

2011 Pintor Barossa Tempranillo, First Drop Wines
This is a a fabulous "Rioja".  A delcious Tempranillo aged in a combination of French and American oak that just provides the perfect foil to the dark Barossa fruit that fills the palate.
Usual bottle price £22.99,
Promo p
rice £18.39
And to celebrate that it's finally the end of the month and that payday has finally arrived, how about a a glass of bubbles?

Prosecco has taken the world by storm in the last few years and it's easy to see why, easy drinking, mixable and a fraction of the price of other sparkling what's not to love! the Valfonda "V" prosecco is made from 100% glera grapes from close to Verona. The bubbles are fine and persistant making it incredibly refreshing, with notes of wild flowers and fresh green apple. Perfect as an aperatif, an all night party tipple or gift for a friend.
