‘La Minuette’ blended rosé comes from La Livinière limestone terroir. Its pale colour and floral bouquet represent the ‘Minuette’ variety of rose planted in Kenya by Tim Ford in 1982, during his 25 years of rose production in Africa. A nod to both the past and the future, La Minuette exemplifies estate values of tradition and modernity.
Made from a blend of 60% Mourvèdre,15% Syrah, 15% Grenache,10% Cinsault and Certified organic wine and vegan friendly. One part hand picked in crates and the other part by harvesting machine.Direct pressing – Sulphur-free vinification between 14°C to 18°C. Blending – On fine lees for 3 months before bottling.
Tasting notes: The 2024 vintage is distinguished by its great finesse and elegance. In the glass, it has a light pink colour, with a very Provençal style. The nose opens with delicate aromas of raspberry, grapefruit, redcurrant and cherry blossom, creating a sensation of freshness. On the palate, the clementine unfolds with a fresh, elegant and very subtle structure, underpinned by salivating acidity. It is also marked by notes of wild strawberries and a touch of orange zest, offering a perfect balance of great delicacy.
