Valpolicella is produced with late harvesting of the bunches that are cut at the beginning of October and left on the vine to dry for about a week. The San Cassiano Valpolicella has aromas of cherry, red fruits and subtle spice flow into an elegant and refined palate with a long finish. This is a slightly richer style of Valpolicella that's perfect for colder nights and pairing with food.
Through his job as a tenant farmer Albino Sella acquired several hectares of land in 1964. From the 1980s onwards, the estate grew to reach four hectares of wines and 3000 olive trees by the year 2000, under the management of Albino’s grandson Mirko Sella.
