Based in Passopisciaro on the northern slopes of Mount Etna, Graci's vineyards sit at around 600-1000 metres above sea level, spread around several villages.
This is an area with a winemaking history that dates back several thousand years, and the aim of the Graci team is to draw from this and ensure the traditions and sustainability of the area. The vineyards grow only indigenous grapes (nerello mascalese, carricante and catarratto), using organic methods and limiting the yields.
A detailed vinification process has been honed over many years, with different methods (including aging in concrete tanks or seasoned wood barrels) aimed at bringing out the individual personality of each wine and enhancing the nuances between varieties and vintages.
