Domaine Font de Notre Dame, run by brothers Frédéric and Boris Roux, is located at the foot of the Dentelles de Montmirail, and focuses its work entirely on producing red wines.
The grapes for these wines are drawn from their 30 hectares of vineyards, which are located across six different southern Rhône appellations. The soils vary widely across this growing land, but most of the vineyards face north, meaning they benefit from morning sunshine before being sheltered from the harsher afternoon heat. This leads to a longer ripening process and a later harvest, before a year-long maturation period in French oak barrels. The result is a collection of wines with great flavour, complexity and character.
