Produced from the family's 19 hectares of vines growing in 'terres blanches' - chalky clay - soil. Vineyards are worked sustainably, organically where possible. It was cool-fermented in stainless steel and aged upon its lees for 5 months.
Vibrant aromas of green apple and citrus. The palate is complex with ripe citrus and pear fruit, pithy grapefruit notes and an appealing stony edge to the long finish. The grapes were picked early to maintain their freshness.
Domaine Roblin is based in the wine-growing hamlet of Maimbray, a little way north of Sancerre, and exclusively produces wines from the Sancerre appellation – not just the whites that the area is primarily know for but also reds and rosés.
