Hosmer Winery sits on the western shore of Cayuga Lake in the Finger Lakes region of New York. It was established in the 1930's and is comprised of the nearly 70 acres of vineyard. The grapes grown here include Pinot Noir, Cabernet Franc, Lemberger, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Riesling, and Sauvignon Blanc, among several other natives and hybrids.
This dry Riesling has aromas of rose petal and lime blossom, leading to a taught midpalate of lime pith. The finish is long and lightly tropical, carried by mandarin flavour.
The Patrician Verona Vineyard, established in 1972 on the western shore of Cayuga Lake in the Finger Lakes region of New York, provides all the grapes for the Hosmer Winery.
