The wines of Terres Fidèles are designed to express the spirit of this extraordinary place – old-vine Grenache, Carignan, Malbec, Cinsault, Viognier. All are authentically crafted, small-batch wines of the wilds. Viognier grapes are harvested from the cool, coastal vineyards around the Etang de Thau - the second largest lake in France. It is here some of the most distinctive Viognier is grown and crafted to display purity of fruit and a distinctive 'goût de terroir'. The aromatic Viognier produces its aromas at a certain stage of maturation. Post-harvest the grapes undergo a short skin-contact maceration. Then, the juice, after a delicate pressing and meticulous off-settling, ferments at low temperature.
Tasting Note: Aromatic with characteristic exotic stone fruit and honeysuckle, rich yet refreshingly dry.
