Cousins Danie and Hugo are 5th generation growers with prime vineyards in the Swartland, Devon Valley and the Polkadraai ward in Stellenbosch. Made by the talented Lukas van Loggerenberg’s from the fruit grown in the Polkadraai Hills in Stellenbosch. They collaborate with exceptional winemakers to produce our limited range, prizing quality over quantity. These wines are made with minimal intervention to honour the terroir where the vines are rooted. These wines are matured in natural vessels, including old French oak barrels and concrete egg fermenters.
Tasting note: Spicy and elegant with noticeable white pepper and charcuterie flavours, pithy acidity and savoury tannins. This is a primary and delicate Syrah. Juicy red and black fruits, pepper and spice – appealing and fresh.
