Domaine La Sarabande was established so that Paul and Isla Gordon could create wines that they felt passionate about. Just over 10 years ago they went to France in search of vineyards and eventually found the Faugéres appellation that fulfilled everything that they were looking for. They have over time bought a number of parcels of land and in 2020 started building a winery. Their vineyards are also organic.
Les Rabasses is a blend of Syrah, Mourvedre and a small amount of Grenache. A rich wine with aromas of blackcurrant and undergrowth, accompanied by beautiful truffle and a long complex assortment of mouth-watering flavours.
Based in France but run by an Australian/Irish couple who have brought skills learned in New Zealand, Domaine La Sarabande is an enterprise with a truly international background.
