Las Veletas Cuartel No 5 Cabernet Franc is a wonderfully crafted Chilean red wine, from the sun-drenched vineyards in the Maule Valley, and showcases the essence of the grape variety in the glass. Las Veletas is situated on an old estate situated in the arid region of San Javier. For numerous decades, this property has been home to vineyards containing país, carignan vines, and mixtures of various red grape varieties. It is owned by Raúl Dell’Oro who has partnered with the renowned winemaker Rafael Tirado to bring the Las Veletas winery project to life.
Tasting note: Earthy aromas medium-high acidity, soft tannins, and notes of forest fruits and spices alongside with floral and ripe red cherry notes. Smooth on the palate with fine, grainy tannins and a grippy finish.
