His focus was set on producing wines Burgundian in character: wines full of structure and pure elegance. Today “Weingut Karl H. Johner” is considered to be one of the best estates in Germany and is well-known amongst most wine experts.

The Karl Johner Pinot Noir has an intense aroma profile of bright red fruits, particularly raspberry, strawberry, cherry and red currant. The wine has been aged in both used and new oak providing the wine with notes of preserved plum, toast, smoke, cocoa beans, vanilla, chocolate, toast, forest floor.
