The Nittnaus family has been cultivating wine in Gols am Neusiedlersee, Burgenland, Austria. for 300 years. Over the past 20 years, the wine estate has been completely modernised and opened up to international markets. The brothers’ vineyards allow for a range of all typical Austrian varieties and wine styles. The Gebrüder Nittnaus wine estate produces 40% white wine, 40% red wine and 20% dessert wine.

Lake Neusiedl is Austria’s warmest and sunniest region, with foggy but not too humid autumns. This in particular is phenomenal for dessert wines. Brothers Andreas and Hans Michael, are responsible for the distinctive signature style of Nittnaus wines. The brothers stand for certified sustainable, nature-oriented management and pride themselves on the highest quality standards.

Tasting Note: This wine is crafted from Chardonnay grapes significantly influenced by noble rot, which concentrates their sugars and enhances flavour complexity. Characterised by a rich, golden hue, the wine exhibits aromas of dried fruits, honey and underlying spice notes, indicative of its botrytis influence. On the palate, it balances viscous sweetness with crisp acidity, ensuring a lengthy finish.

Available in Half bottles.
