The Amarone della Valpolicella Classico dei Domìni Veneti was created in the historic area of the Valpolicella Classica, in classic Italian terraced vineyards with characteristic dry stone walls.
The typical grapes of the Amarone blend are harvested between September and October and left to dry in the fruit cellar until January. Then they ferment at controlled temperature with a slow maceration of 30 days. Once the malolactic fermentation is complete, the wine is aged for 18 months in oak barrels and then for 6-8 months in the bottle.
This is an intense wine, garnet red in colour. IThe nose has hints of dried red fruit, tobacco and spices. The taste is surprisingly intense and decisive, with pure silk tannins.
On the table it is perfect with braised meat and grilled meat, as well as with long-aged cheeses and game.
