Silvermyn

Silvermyn is a wine crafted by Zorgvliet Wines, a winery based in Banghoek, around seven kilometres from Stellenbosch. This land was once roamed by gangs, lions and leopards, but these days it’s mostly inhabited by high-quality wine producers (although rumour has it there are still a few leopards lurking in the surrounding mountains).

The estate is centred around a central ‘Herenhuis’ dating from 1692 and showcasing traditional Cape Dutch architecture. The de Merwe family have lived in this beautiful spot since 2002, dedicating themselves not only to producing excellent wines but also welcoming visitors to their restaurant and guest accommodation.
