Saint Saturnin

Based some 40 kilometres north of Montpellier, Saint-Saturnin terroir has been in operation since Roman times, with vineyards among the southern Larzac foothills and overlooked by the 536-metre Roche des Vierges. Saint-Saturnin was one of the historic founders of the AOC Languedoc and obtained its own appellation – AOC Languedoc Saint-Saturnin – in 1985. It is now in the process of being recognised as a Cru in its own right for its red wines.
