After many years gaining experience of growing and producing wine in mountain regions, winemaker Philippe Grisard settled in the small Savoyard village of Cruet in 2010, setting up his own winery with a focus on native grape varieties.

Grisard comes from a winemaking family, with three generations previously involved in the business. He aims to draw on this tradition while also adopting innovative new techniques to bring a fresh new image to the area’s classic wine varieties.

Focusing on the Alpine grape varieties that thrive in the region’s diverse soil types, Grisard creates a collection of wines drawn from six communes around the Massif des Bauges, showcasing the individual character of each variety.
