Let's be mature about this...
Our German extravaganza continues, as does our love affair with the wines from Max Richter. Last week we were showing off his Zepelin, now it's the turn of his mature 2008 Graacher Himmelreich Riesling Kabinett. Coming from a vineyard named for the "Kingdom of Heaven" you immediately get an idea of how heavenly this wine is going to be. An off-dry Riesling it is a juicy wine with lots of floral, citrus and herbal notes that is backed up on the finish with a complex minerality that you'd expect from this grape in it's prime.

From the old world to the new...
Shipped direct from Argentina from one of our very favourite producers, this Cabernet Sauvignon is bright fruited and vibrant yet with the lush dark fruit you'd expect from a classic new world Cabernet. You really can't argue with how good this wine is for the price. Why not try switching from Malbec to Cabernet for a change?
