This is a truly superb Kabinett with plenty of life ahead! Karthauserhof is one of the two most important estates in the Ruwer (under the umbrella of the Mosel region), with monastic roots of the wine estate going back to the 14th Century. Christoph Tyrell, who owns and runs the estate, exclusively exploits the Karthauserhofberg, one of the Ruwer's great vineyards. The wine is fermented in low temperatures and in stainless steels to slow down fermentation; resulting in a wine with cleaner and clearer flavours.

Vina Cobos Felino, Malbec, Mendoza – Argentina £16.99 Viña Cobos is the true identity of each variety and the unique terroir of Mendoza, truly world class wines from a world class producer, Paul Hobbs, best known for his namesake wines from California. Aromas of cassis, dark chocolate, ripe blackberry and liquorice drift from the glass followed by some vanilla, cedar and earthy. On the palate dark, dense and rich with intense blueberries, black cherry and sweet spices. Very bright on the palate with fleshy polished tannins.
