You may have heard of the Rhone Valley in Southern France but if you're thinking this is just all one place producing similar wines you'd be very much mistaken! The Northern and Southern Rhone Valley are extremely different from each other in climate, soil, grapes and terroir, leading to very different wines. The Southern Rhone Valley is renowned for producing an eclectic palate of wine styles ranging from the powerful reds from the most famous and most southerly appellation chateauneuf-du-Pape, complex whites and the deeply coloured, food friendly rosés of Tavel. Grenache dominates this region, growing well in the Mediterranean climate and is often blended with Syrah and Mourvedre. If you love French wine it is certainly worth taking the time to become acquainted with the Southern Rhone!
The Tasting will be served with sharing platters of well-matched cheese and charcuterie plus nibbles and bread.
Starting at 7.30pm running until 9.30pm at Cafe Wood, 7 Church Street, Weybridge. KT13 8DE.
Tickets to an event at The Vineking require prepayment to secure your booking. Ticket prices are per person. **Please be aware smaller bookings of 2-4 may mean sharing a table with other guests.**
All dietary requirements where possible will be catered for. Please confirm these asap after your booking. For some theme nights it may not be possible to cater for all dietary needs.
If you have to cancel your table with 14+ days notice we will refund your payment in full.
If cancellation is between 7-14 days before the event, you will be entitled to a 50% refund or we will offer to reschedule you to another date if possible.
In the event that we can resell the places booked, there will be a 100% refund. However, we offer no refund payment if there is less than 7 days notice of cancellation unless we can resell the places booked.
