We have been fans of the wines of Languedoc for over 20 years as this is surely the source from some of France's greatest value wines.  We have put together a terrific six pack which shows the wonderful variety that can be found from this region from some of the star producers. 

Maison Antech Blanquette de Limoux Brut Nature Cuvee Francoise £19.99

Made from a belnd of Mauza and chardonnay, this Blanquette de Limoux is pale yellow colour with golden reflections and fine bubbles. The nose expresses the spring flowers and fresh apple and pear. The palate is lively, harmonious and round.

2024 Domaine la Sarabande Blanc, Faugeres £19.99

This is a blend of Marsanne with a hint of Roussanne. The aromas of apricot and peach begin, followed by a silky and luscious palate with an electric finish. The grapes were grown organically and naturally fermented. It was then vinified in barrels to give it its structure. 

2024 Domaine Lafage Centenaire Cotes du Rousillon Blanc £19.99

Our best selling white from the Languedoc.  Made from a blend of Grenache Blanc, Roussanne, and Macabeu grapes, this wine presents a rich and complex aroma of white flowers, pear, and apricot, as well as hints of honey and roasted nuts. On the palate, it delivers a fresh and lively taste with a delicate balance of acidity and minerality that culminates into a long and elegant finish. A wonderful wine for any White Burgundy lover.

2022 Sarrat de Goundy Le Planteur Rouge £24.99

Made from 60% Syrah, 30% Grenache, 10% Mourvèdre and grapes for this wine are harvested manually. It is aged for 12 months in French oak barrels, 30% of which are new. 

Deep colour with garnet highlights. Elegant aromas of jammy red and black fruits and a notes of garrigue. On the palate it is full and generous, with flavours of laurel, blackcurrant, and vanilla. It has a pleasant freshness and a long, crisp finish. This red wine is the epitome of elegance and finesse, with a very pleasant sensation of suppleness and freshness on the palate. 

2022 Domaine la Sarabande Bousigue, Faugeres £28.99

Made from 80% Mourvedre 20% Syrah this wine is a deep colour with pretty nuances of aromas. thyme characters wild and dried meat are also present. The palate is rich and fills with a sweet and long finish exceptional.
