This estate has been in the Robert family since 1902. They grow their own vines and the whole Domaine is classified as Grand Cru- Le Mesnil sur Oger The house style is to pick grapes at perfect maturation and to ferment naturally. They choose to block the malolactic fermentation in order to preserve the freshness of the Champagne. The base wine is matured for an extended period in barrels or tanks for around 10 months.
The Les Horizons Blanc De Blancs is a blend of our four great Chardonnay terroirs. Vinified 80% in vat and 20% on Barrel, then 10 months ageing on fine lees wiht no malolactic fermentation. Finally aged on lees in the bottle for 2 years. The resulting champagne has a spicy nose, oak, fruity, mouth in the continuity of the fruit, citrus on the finish.
