Impress your dinner guests with these three wines. Each absolutely sensational in their own right, but together steal the show!
NV Gosset Grand Reserve - This cuvée has a bright and golden colour. The nose is dominated by the freshness and the fruit. The Chardonnay brings finesse sustained by notes of yellow fruits such as peach and Mirabelle plum. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and generous. The Pinot Noir of Ay gives its structure. Hawthorn and white flowers merge naturally. Acidity is expressed by citrus fruits.
2020 Lucien Crochet Sancerre Les Calcaires - A delicious Sancerre from a top producer. Formed from several vineyards that all feature Oxfordian limestone and a little clay. The limestone give the wines a lovely freshness and elegance, the clay lends a touch of richness, weight and minerality. On the palate the wine is beautifully refined with an elegant texture, with a deliciously refined, long and complex finish - a pitch perfect Sancerre.
