“A complex blend, mainly from Yallingup Hills plus a small percentage from Wilyabrup, 92% cabernet sauvignon, 5% merlot and 3% malbec, vinified separately, matured in French oak (20% new) for 16 months. An amazing expression of modern style, in particular Yallingup. Densely coloured, it explores sombre black fruits, then breaking free and fresh on the finish. An exceptional bargain. Trophy Best Cabernet Perth Wine Show '19.”

"Gorgeously fruity, but elegant dark, berry and hedgerow fruits; supple plate, richly fruity, firm, but elegant structure. Very classy!"

Located in the ultra-premium Margaret River region in Western Australia, Deep Woods is one of the prestigious vineyards that has put the region on the map. In the last few years their star-studded wines have been getting some incredible reviews from critics and drinkers alike – so much so, that last years offer sold out of the top wines in less than 24 hours!
Deep Wood’s wines are complex and serious, with a polish & sophistication second to none. Absolutely drinkable in the Australian fashion of their finest wines, these have that balancing trick of also cellaring magnificently – anyone willing to put them aside for a few years will savour the results.
Deep crimson with vivid purple hues, this wine exhibits aromas of violets, black cherry, and dried herbs with hints of spice. The palate displays flavours of summer plums and dark berries, with notes of sweet spice and dark chocolate from the use of both new and seasoned French oak. It is medium bodied with fine, elegant tannin and persistent length. A true representation of Margaret River Cabernet Sauvignon.
