2021 Helmsman Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot, Australia
A cracking juicy Aussie with juicy red and dark fruits on the nose — think raspberry, plum and redcurrant — sometimes with a hint of blackcurrant, subtle spice or cedar undertones. On the palate it is medium-bodied with soft, rounded tannins, moderate acidity and a smooth finish, offering flavours of berry, plum and a gentle earthy or savoury note.
