Avalon Winery was established in 2001 in bucolic western Sonoma County. Named after the legendary Isle of Avalon, a place steeped in history and tradition. As Avalon wines are made the winemaker melds ancient winemaking techniques with modern technology. He combines thoughtful vineyard selection and intuitive winemaking methods to create a selection of wines that are beautifully balanced and effortlessly enjoyable. Elegant and well-balanced, with aromas of orange blossom, apple, guava with hints of vanilla and baking spices. These lovely characteristics flow through to the palate leading to a crisp and refreshing finish.

The Avalon Zinfandel is juicy and structured, with a long, velvety finish. Dark berry flavours of blackberry and plum with spicy notes on the nose.
