Jérôme Lacondemine has been a vigneron since he was 20 years old having taken over from his Uncle, the celebrated Beaujolaise winemaker Vincent Lacondemine in 2016 when he retired. A practitioner of low intervention wines and since 2002 all his red wines are made without added sulphur in the winery and with just a little added for preservation on bottling.
in the words of Jérome Lacondémine this 2025 Beaujolais Village Nouveau "C'est une bombe". Jérome works all his Nouveau without added sulphites but this one is also bottled under vacuum - no sulphites added even at bottling. As a result it can oxidise faster than "normal" wines after opening so you should drink it in one sitting or chill it!
