Monte Guelfo is from the estates of the Cecchi family who have been making wine in Castellina in Chianti since 1893. For generations they have built up vineyard holdings in some of Tuscany's great sites, allowing them to produce some spectacular wines at great value. From the historic Classico zone, this wine captures Chianti's rolling hills and the warmth of Italian sun balanced by cool nights.
Tasting note: A vibrant, easy-drinking Chianti, brimming with bright red fruit, lively acidity, and true Tuscan charm. Made from 90% Sangiovese and 10% Colorino, the Chianti does not see any oak, making it a vibrant & fresh Tasting note: expression of Sangiovese with hints of black forest fruits, woodland berries, saddle leather and plums
