Domaine de Beaurepaire is located near Bourges, with vineyards in Menetou Salon, a small appellation in the Loire. Menetou Salon is one of the most highly regarded areas in the upper Loire Valley, and often presents better value for money than it’s pricier sibling, Sancerre. Domaine de Beaurepaire have 9.5 hectares of Sauvignon planted and a further 3.5 hectares of Pinot Noir planted for their production of red and rose wine.
This Menetou Salon Rouge has aromas of raspberry and cherry, with a silky mouthfeel. A great wine to serve with white meats, grilled meats and good goat cheese.
