Folli & Benato are long-standing friends and colleagues for over 20 years. Italian born and bred, they met whilst living in England, working in the drinks trade. Together, they share a deep-rooted passion for wine and in particular the region of Piedmont, which after many trips together, is at the heart of this project. Folli & Benato source and bottle wines which truly reflect Piedmont's many terroirs, whilst remaining excellent value for money.
The Cortese grapes for this wine were harvested mid September. Fermentation took place in stainless steel for around 20 days at 12 ° C, after which it spent a further period of refinement in stainless steel for a minimum of 3 months on the fine lees and 1-2 months in bottle before release.
Concentrated aromas of white peach, pear and jasmine, carry through to the palate which is elegant, fresh and perfectly balanced.
