The Claude Vialade winery is family-run and is based in the Cotes-Catalanes area in the Languedoc. Based in the heart of the Languedoc in Lezignan-Corbières, Domaines Auriol is a family-owned winery set up in 1995 by the formidable Claude Vialade.
The Champs de Nummus is 100% Chardonnay. The grapes are slowly pressed to keep the fresh aromatics of grapes. 20% of the grape juice is then fermented in new oak barrels and 80% in old oak barrels. The wine is then aged on it's fine lees.
Mineral, complex nose, notes of ripe fruit, flowers and spices. The palate is ample, structured, rich and of great elegance throughout. This wine has an aging potential of at least 5 years.
