Mañoso, meaning skilfully handmade, offers great quality classic Rioja style with a modern twist. The Manoso Joven Tinto was hand harvested from 25 year old Tempranillo vines. It was fermented in stainless stel to keep the freshness of the fruit. The wine is soft with vibrant, bright red fruits on the palate.
Since 1910, the family behind Bodegas Manoso have been producing wines in the Rioja Alavesa. Conditions at their vineyards in Elvillar and Laguardia are very favourable for grape growing, with clay-calcareous soil at the base and an Atlantic climate tempered by Mediterranean influences to nurture the growing season.
