Antoine Van Remoortere is a young winemaker to watch. He makes excellent wines in Menetou Salon, both red and white. We have been working with Antoine's wines since the 2015 vintage and his wines provide some of the best Pinot Noirs to be found under £30! This is a terrific example of Pinot Noir that challenges those found in the regions of Savigny or Santenay but at substantially keener prices.
This is a beautiful Loire Pinot Noir with a charming nose of raspberry, strawberry, blackberry and a subtle earthy undertone, all woven together in delicately integrated oak. The palate is deliciously mid-bodied with a wonderful sense of elegance and lovely length. A perfect Summer red.
