Anne Parent picked early in 2020 to avoid high alcohol levels and made some excellent wines. Being Pommard based, means these wines have a natural disposition to richness and weight and after five year maturity, this Bourgogne rouge is singing.
A vibrant red, deeply coloured, with a nose of glorious creamy fruit, some strawberry notes, ripe aromas of poached plum, black raspberry and warm earth. They give way to round, rich flavour that delivers solid length on the palate. With super-ripe tannins behind the ripe red and black fruits and a fine, fresh crunch of tannin behind, going to a long, juicy, deceptively alluring finish.
