A strong passion for wine and an even stronger belief in the Sardinian landscape were what brought together five partners (Mark Hartmann, Giulio Corti, Emanuele Schembri and Enrico and Marco Faccenda) and inspired them to start their wine project called Sa Raja.
The project started with the acquisition of a 75-hectare property in the Gallura area, a region that has long been dedicated to the Vermentino Cru. With 49 hectares of vineyards here along with others in Romangia and Sulis, the team now produce a collection of wines that are unashamedly Mediterranean in style, using native grapes such as Cannonau and Carignano.
