Domaine Prieur Brunet was formed in 1955, after to the marriage of Guy Prieur, who was born in Santenay, and Elisabeth Brunet, from Meursault. The winery had already been established for some time by then, however – the Prieur family originally founded Domaine Prieur in 1804.
The estate in Santenay was bought by 2017 by Maison Louis Jadot, which aims to preserve links with the site’s heritage and the hard work done by the Prieur-Brunet family.
