Pinot Noir Cramele Recas

Cramele Recaș is one of the largest in the west of Romania and is proudly established as one of the country’s most important wineries. This is a winery with a long and storied history – its name first appears in documentary evidence from 1447.

These days, the winery manages approximately 1300 hectares of vineyards across the Timiș and Arad regions, growing more than 25 different grape varieties. In recent years it has transformed itself into one of the area’s most cutting-edge wineries, with a production capacity of around 185,000 hl of wine for national sales and international export.

Resident winemaker Florin Voloacă oversees the winemaking process, working alongside internationally certified winemakers Hartley Smithers and Nora Iriarte to produce a collection of wines that aim to preserve and enhance the natural quality of each grape variety.

Alongside the production facility is a tourist wine complex capable of hosting organised tours for up to 100 people, allowing visitors to discover all the company’s products and varieties.
