Château Haut-Barrail

Located in Médoc · France

Château Haut Barrail has been located in Bégadan since 1362.

Formerly called “La Maison de la Bernède”, this property is one of the most beautiful vineyards in the Médoc.

Cyril's family has owned Château Haut Barrail since 1987. Since then, a lot of restoration work has been carried out to give birth to the first vintage of Château Haut Barrail in 1995.

Winegrowers from father to son, Cyril Gillet is the new generation of winegrowers on this family estate.

The vineyard grows on a clay-limestone soil and extends over 15 hectares planted with Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.

The estate's wines stand out for their assertive character and their development. They are refined and elegant.
