In the heart of the Jura vineyards is Poligny, where the Domaine Badoz has been passed down from wine-growing father to son for ten generations. The beautiful region known as ‘Le Revermont’ is in the foothills of the Jura massif, where the geography and climate come together to create wines with a strong personality.

The story of this estate is one of passion passed down through the years. Current owner Benoît Badoz spent his childhood here on the land of his ancestors, developing a great love of the area.

He followed his studies at Lycée Viticole de Beaune followed with some time spent training at large estates such as Carillon in Puligny-Montrachet and Petrus in Pomerol. Knowledge gained here later took him abroad to work in other vineyards around the world.

Badoz returned in 2003 and took over management of the family property. His love of the land and his deep knowledge have allowed him to develop a diversified collection of wines in two styles: ‘traditional’ wines that reflect the typical aromas of the Jura terroir, and a ‘new generation’ collection with more surprising aromas.
