Domaine Samuel Billaud is located in the heart of the village of Chablis, with cellars dating from the 13th century. The Billauds are one of the oldest winemaking families in Chablis, with Samuel being the sixth generation. Samuel Billaud strives to preserve all of the terroir's value and to produce wines that reveal all of its complexity. His great mastery, his experience and his know-how are found in his wines, precise, both fresh and firm in their structure, and intensely mineral.
The 2022 Chablis Grands Terroirs comes from the usual three parcels. The nose offers yellow plum and verbena, touches of chalk emerging with aeration. The palate has real "zing" on the entry, sharp and pointed, taut and linear, revivifying the senses with impressive concentration on the finish.
