Established in 2005, Alexana Estates is part of the portfolio of wine estates owned by Dr. Madaiah Revana, a cardiologist who emigrated from India to Houston in 1973. When Dr. Revana began his winemaking journey in 1997 his principles revolved around respect for the land and honest, authentic winemaking processes – and this is something that has continued to be at the heart of the business to this day.

The 80-acre Revana Estate Vineyard that produces Alexana is in the Willamette Valley, and it is one of the most geologically diverse vineyard sites in North America (or perhaps the world). There are 18 different soil types among the 55 planted acres, which are tended with a sustainable approach to produce premium-quality fruit.

Winemaker Bryan Weil oversees a restrained viticulture process that gives each vintage a unique character. Native yeasts, small lot fermentations and manual punchdowns are part of the delicate fermentation process. The result is a collection of sophisticated, balanced and texture-driven wines that each tell a story of time and place.
