It was 1927 when Pasquale Mottura looked out over the vast stretches of vineyards he had gradually set up over the years and decided to give new life to the fruit of his work by founding one of the most important wineries on the Salento. Mottura has always set itself ambitious quality goals, convinced of the expressive power of native local grape varieties such as Primitivo and Negroamaro and committed to continuing ancient wine-making traditions.

Intense aroma of ripe fruit, pepper, tobacco and walnut. A velvety, full-bodied feel on the palate. A good companion to red meats, roasts, wild game and strong cheeses.
