2018 The Moorooduc McIntyre Pinot Noir Mornington Peninsular

Kate McIntyre’s notes: This single vineyard wine from our home vineyard in Derril Road is further evidence of what our fine vineyard site and mature vines can produce in a really good year. It includes some wine from interesting clones grafted onto our old Cabernet vines (planted in 1983).

Red and black cherry fruit on the nose. Subtle yet complex aromas including licorice root, cocoa, sage and rosemary and exotic cedar spice. Opening up slowly on the palate to reveal black cherry fruit, kirsch, and more of the complex aromas that are revealing on the nose.
