In the very heart of Franciacorta, lies the centuries-old residence of Mosnel with its 16th-century winecellars and surrounding vineyards, all eloquent testimony to the age-old winemaking traditions that the Barboglio family inherited in 1836. All Mosnel Franciacortas spend at least some part of their fermentation in oak. The multi-vintage Franciacortas contain base wines from previous vintages in order to maintain a consistent Mosnel style.
A perfectly balanced blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Bianco, and Pinot Noir grapes. The wine has had at least 24 months sur lie adding to its rich character. Elegant and aromatic on the palate, with hints of elderflower and blossom with crisp flavours of citrus, pear, apple, apricot and melon, and a hint of almond. A beautiful sparkling from a very underrated wine producing region.
