The 2024 WillaJory Chardonnay is an unoaked Chardonnay from Oregon's renowned Willamette Valley, crafted from fruit grown at the sustainably farmed Erratic Oaks Vineyard in the Mt. Pisgah sub-AVA. The wine is designed to showcase pure vineyard character, with fermentation in stainless steel and only partial malolactic fermentation to enhance texture while preserving freshness.
WillaJory takes its name from two of the Willamette Valley's most famous soil types: Willakenzie (marine sedimentary) and Jory (volcanic). The winery emphasises terroir-driven wines, and the 2024 Chardonnay is intended as a transparent expression of the vineyard without any influence from oak ageing.
