A superb white from South-West France. This wine is a blend from local varieties growing on old vines; from some of the best vineyards in the Roussillon, this distinctively French white wine is crafted from native varietals to the region, usually a blend of Colombard, Vermentino, Marsanne or Grenache Blanc. Balanced and elegant, this wine is a wonderfully evocative expressions of the region.
A traditional white wine fermentation follows a direct pressing and racking in stainless steel without carbonic maceration.
Tasting Note: Light yellow in colour with some green reflections. The nose is delicate, some citrus notes and white flowers. Dry and fresh on the palate with lemon and fresh mint and lovely sharp acidity on the finish.
Food matching: This stands up well to rich pâté or white meats with creamy sauces.
