Tasting note for 2023, the 2024 is possibly even better!: 17.5/20
Creamed honey and fennel on the nose. A stunning vintage of this wine – one which kept unfolding over several hours and then several days, and was beautiful at every temperature, even when it got a bit warm. There is so much here. The fruit spirals through a mesmerising spectrum of stinging, salty citrus to silky peaches to full-on tropical mango and pineapple. But running vertical through that slow-swirling spiral are tight, glinting-green and silvery threads of lavender, crushed granite, dried oregano, rosemary flowers, river stone and lemon sherbet. So fresh, so very fresh, and yet rich, creamy and almost voluptuous at heart. And so alive, so peppery. It seems insane that this is under £25 (by some margin). VGV Tamlyn Currin
